I gotta be honest... the past few days, been feeling quite uninspired and unmotivated. Can you tell winter is here? I'm even living in a place where the snow will never fall (though if it ever does, I'm outta here!) and the temperature rarely drops below 50 degrees. Even still, it's nearly the end of the year and like most, I'm just exhausted. Christmas vacation please and thank you! And on that awkward note, download this fantastic remix of Gabriella Cilmi's Defender. Maybe you will feel motivated to shake that fat ass of yours! I was!
To take an iconic old fart of the 80's Christmas song and make it something groovy for today is pure skill. Thanks to our friends over in Hollands, Keljet creates another great remix, this time of Chris Rea's Driving Home For Christmas. Download it here.
The funny southern bell we've come to love has offered up a free download for her Facebook & Twitter fans. So do yourself a favor - follow Katelyn Clampett! The singer-songwriter has given us another taste of her California Country Pop music with All Over Again. It's a refreshing break from the autotune, dance til you drop songs currently flooding the radio. It's a nice blend of Anna Nalick and a more rock driven Taylor Swift.DOWNLOAD it here!
Direct from Scotland, Sonikross &Johnny Frenetic have done the remix world justice with their saucy version of Cee Lo Green's viral international hit Fuck You!. DOWNLOAD it here.
Sorry you peeps on the East Coast, I know most of you have already left the office for the day. To all the rest still counting down the hours 'til freedom, enjoy our weekly Cure For the Mondays Vol. 4 mixtape. DOWNLOAD it here!

Ever wanted to break it down with Adele? Now's your chance! Once again, the Netherlands gives us something to dance to. Keljet has added a serious groove to Rolling In the Deep. Imagine The Gossip being the backup band for Adele and you'll have this remix. DOWNLOAD it here.
Name ring a bell? No? Oh come on... Patrick Stump! The former lead singer to the ever so popular Fall Out Boy, Stump has two versions of his first single Spotlight, and he wants his fans to choose which one to release. His Oh Nostalgia version is in true Fall Out Boy form (and to me, more friendly for radio play & Wonky Pop's vote). I'm assuming New Regrets is the direction Stump has headed with his first solo project- a bit more electronic, more dance-driven. You know, more of a Postal Servicemeets Keshakinda sound. I'd go for the New Regrets version myself, but it seems like it needs a bit more umpf. (Maybe crank up that bass a bit!) Which version do you prefer? Vote here and help Stump decide.DOWNLOAD both versions here.
Is the suspense killing you yet? It's definitely killing us! Natalia Kills is finally releasing her debut album in March of 2011(Cherry Tree Records) - can we fast forward please? We're excited to tell you that Natalia has been selected as our Flavor of the Monthfor all 31 days of December! Expect the Q&A shortly (I know some of you are anxious to hear it- we're still editing and preparing it. We want it to be perfect for NK). In the meantime, download this exclusive remix by FrankMusik of Kills first single Mirrors. And come this Thursday, expect to see the co-directed video by Kills herself! Read the official press release below!
This fall has been quite the whirlwind for burgeoning Cherrytree artist Natalia Kills; the reigning Queen of dark pop and all things debaucherous as of late. Having completed her first national tour in the US with Robyn this week, her live performances received rave reviews from critics across the board as she performed exclusive material from her forthcoming album to US audiences far and wide. 'Perfectionist' is due March 2011.
Ms. Kills also recently completed her (soon-to-be unveiled) video for her current single 'Mirrors' produced by Akon and Martin "Cherry Cherry Boom Boom" Kierszenbaum. The scenes and concept behind the video for this killer hit is the brainchild of Natalia Kills herself. Always keen to explore some of the demons that may drive/distract the perfectionist within us all: "Love, Sex, Control, Vanity," - are all re-occuring themes Natalia covers throughout 'Perfectionist'. Money, Death, & Revenge are also touched upon as Natalia shows a vulnerable side with tracks such as 'Free' a tongue in cheek ditty about being broke (penned by Kills when she was waiting tables having made the jump from London to Los Angeles) and 'Heaven' the touching ballad written for her grandpa who helped raise her as a child.
Between touring with Kelis and Robyn, and performing at this years CMJ Festival, Natalia also collaborated with British electro-pop musician and producer Frankmusik in the studio for a new track to be included on Frankmusiz's new album expected to drop Spring '11.

Only a genius mashup DJ could combine the following: Kesha, Nirvana, Far East Movement and Britney Spears. Titus Jones is a resident of Nashville, TN and one helluva mashup DJ. Not only does he create amazing mixes via audio, he even mashes the videos together, sure to impress anyone with a set of eyes. This is sure to quench your thirst!
I am speechless by the overwhelming talent of 16 year old Daniel & 13 year old Nadine Carasco, brother sister duo from the UK. To hear Jessie J sing the original version of Price Tag live already had drowning in my own drool, and now this? Wow. I am quite impressed with the production and Nadine's voice. Though not comparable to Jessie J, Nadine has a voice meant to win pop lovers everywhere over - it's sweet, fresh and playful. I could see fans of Kate Nash, Lilly Allen and even Len(remember them?) gravitating towards Nadine. Check out Jessie J and Nadine & Daniel's versions below. Which do you prefer? Starting today, every MondayWonky Pop is going to be giving its readers a Cure for the Mondays mixtape. Everyone needs a little pep in their step to make it thru the work week (God knows I sure as hell do). To help you turn that frown upside down, DOWNLOAD

David Guetta ft. Rihanna - Who's That Chick (Martin & Souza Adrenaline Mix)
Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (Klimis Loannidis Small Room Mix)

I know what you're thinking... Wonky Pop should be called Rihanna Pop. I may have gone a bit overboard this week with the RiRi postings, and possible even overdosed a little. And unless you're headless, you really shouldn't mind all of those postings - cause she's the freakin' cats meow right now - Taylor who? I know some of you will be fist pumping from the ground up tonight, ripping it up all weekend long... and then there are some of you that will be heading home tonight after work (if you're not already there) and fallin' asleep on the sofa around 830, with a pop tart in your mouth. This song is for the latter of the people (though some of you party animals might find this to be a good disco nap song). Psychic Powerswill put you in a trippy mood, forgetting all of the weeks frustrations and just be. Brighter will have you wishing you were laying on the hood of your vista cruiser and staring up at the sky. It's the perfect temperature for this time of the year.
So right now people's (and by people, I mean the internet) attention has been stolen by some unexplainable events. But when you can rip your focus from Keenan, Youtube, 50 Cent, and Chelsea Handler Lately let's focus on what is really important here. Pinup Saints are blow-your-socks-off material. You will DEFINITELY not have socks. What's more important then finding great music, is that this music is free.
Pinup Saints at first might seem like your average pop band, but they have something else that other up-and-comings don't. Maybe you can figure out what's so special. Just listen to Like the 1st Time. This Canadian electronic/pop duo (Wynn Holmes and RaRa) have the male/female vocals that not enough musical groups have these days. Do you know what I mean? No, you don't.
In short: shut up and listen to their music. I'm not entirely sure if their recent retweet of Kanye West was a sarcastic joke or 'other'. I think retweeting sucks, maybe cause I never get retweeted. But that's the downfall of not being cool. But regardless, you should still have a listen and download. Download EVERYTHING HERE.AND HERE!

Need a jumpstart to your week? Kick it off right with this Vice & Riddler's remix of Pink's Raise Your Glass. Stop pouting - Monday is almost over and you got an extra hour of sleep this weekend.
Another message, direct from Colin Munroe's mouth:
Dear Friends & Family:
Without further ado, I present the completed Revox Suite - Vol. 1 for your listening pleasure. In addition to the Sky Ferreira & La Roux X Nicki Minaj revoxes that you might have heard already, there are also vocal remixes of songs by the Jackson 5, Paramore and Bob Dylan.
The Revox Suite sounds pretty unlike any project I've ever heard. I hope it encourages more people to think about bending and breaking musical barriers. Thank you for indulging the Unsung Hero in another one of my adventures. Now on to the next one.
We love Colin Munroe and this five song suite he has put together for his fans is brillzballs. Download it here.
Don't fret - Friday is almost here... soon you'll be able to wig out. British singer & semi finalist for X Factor 2008, Diana Vickersunique sound has yet to be heard by most of America, as RCA has still not released her Songs From the Tainted Cherry Tree in the States (nor her re-release of the album). Why we don't get to buy (one of the biggest breakthrough artists in UK history) albums, is beyond me. It's like Americans not getting Kylie Minogue (though it seems to have we're catching on as of this year). Nutbags! Fortunately, through the magic of the internet and some great DJ's, here's here third single (and first off of her re-release album) My Wicked Heart, for your downloading pleasure!
