grandma's in the kitchen

Secretly (though after this it won't be a secret), one of my favorite genre's of music is the original R&B and soul/jazz stuff from the 50's and 60's. I have the best memory of my grandmother, cooking in her kitchen, and the small yellow radio she had sitting on the counter was always playing this style of music. I don't think I will ever detach my grandmother's memory from this music and I am ever so thankful for that. She was an incredible woman who lived an amazing & very fulfilled life. Here's to you Grandma Bun. I think it's important to reconnect with the artists of the pasts to see where we are today.
