We've recently discovered this new gem of a club banger from our favorite mohawk'd lady, Eva Simons. The house song was written by the great French DJ Snake. No confirmation as to whether or not this will be on Eva's debut album or DJ's, but nonetheless, it's something to hold us over.
Update:Cherrytree Records has confirmed that this is not the official video for Activate My Heart. An official clip of the new video should be released next week. Stay tuned!
Though Activate My Heart will not be included on Natalia KillsPerfectionist album, it was released as a promotional single. It was the second single released after Zombie in April of this year. Upon first glance, it's pretty evident that the dark pop princess was involved with the production and direction of the unreleased video. The Robert Miles synth undertones make this song truly addictive. Hoping this song will be included as a bonus track on Kills album debut. Perhaps 2011 will be the year of Kills?
Actually, it's that other bitch in the club corner over there. Yeah you - you're a hot mess! Recently leaked, Hot Mess is a catchy dance jam, dark pop, with some creative dirrty lyrics, something Ke$ha would spew out. A highlight is "bending over for the world to see your coin slot." That really makes me giggle. It's sure to give anyone another reason to fall in love with Natalia and a new reason to dance. I feel as though this is Kills' U Should Know Better public service announcement. This is the second version we've heard of Hot Mess. We're not surprised Kills had this one redone - she is after all, a Perfectionist. I love love love that she sings a few lines from another one of my favorite Kills' song, Free. (i look fresh in a potato sack!)
Good morning, hateful Monday! Another week has begun - thank God there's good music out there to get us thru! Our favorite gal & current Flavor of the Month has teamed up with another favorite Cherry Tree artist, Far East Movement, and leaked this club thumper. 2 Is Better was not included on their first major studio album Free Wired but was released as a single back in 2009 and originally recorded with rappers Lil Eddie & Ya Boy. Of course, we're biast and feel that the original does not compare to the bite Natalia Kills adds to the new version. They need to release this as a single. Whatdya think?
Another Princess RiRi leak -- and this one is bound to have you raising your glass. Even the Emo kids should join in on this one! If this doesn't get you thirsty for the weekend, then you must be headless. Listen to Cheers (Drink To That) below.
The Barbadian beauty Rihanna has less than just two weeks away from the release date of her fifth studio album Loud. Unfortunately, it seems her album is already leaking across the internet. We're hoping this won't hurt the sales of her album -- we'd really like to see Taylor Swift be knocked off her top spot on the billboards by Rihanna. It's her time to shine! From what we've heard so far, Loud is an incredible pop album, from beginning to end. It's got attitude, heart, danceable beats as well as cry your eyes out ballads. Before you consider downloading her album illegally, consider how this will effect RiRi's time in the spotlight. Be kind, buy. To hold you over until the 16th, preview S&M below.
If you haven't heard the news, Kesha just scored her fifth top 10 single on the Billboards and there's no stopping here yet! She's just hit us us with another amazing club banger song. Cannibal is the title track to her upcoming album dropping on November 22nd and is definitely a continuation of Animal. Get in touch with your wild side - give it a listen below!
You heard it here first! Pink's new track, Fuckin' Perfect, to be included on the US release of her Greatest Hits...So Far!!! Pink once again blows our minds with another incredible song - full of honest lyrics and that rocker attitude she's always had. This one is for sure to be on repeat the rest of today! Get your copy of her Greatest on November 16th!
What a beautiful, yet chilling song. This time, Rihanna leads the way and turns Love the Way You Lie into a piano driven ballad with heavy background beats for her Loud album. Part 2 of the Eminem collaboration #1 hit single will be featured on Rihanna's fifth studio album, due to release in just two weeks!
Rihanna ft. Eminem - Love the Way You Lie (Pt. 2) explicit
I love Ke$ha more and more. The beat on this song is not like the rest of her top hits - it's a bit more reminiscent of M.I.A. But it's still a hot track nonetheless- and you just gotta listen to the lyrics. Sleazy will be on her upcoming release of Cannibal (November 22), the continuation of her first album Animal. The subtle sounds of the bells in the background make me wonder, is this her contribution to Christmas music? Kesha is who she is. Lyric highlights are:
I don't need you Or your brand new Benz Or your boughie friends I don't need love looking like diamonds Looking like diamonds
Me and all my friends we don't buy bottles we bring 'em We take the drinks from the table when you get up and leave 'em
Though not officially released,Katy Perry's Firework video has leaked across the net. I think it's one of her best yet. Absolutely beautiful!! Katy has recently dedicated the video to the It Gets Better Project - sending a positive message across the youth of America and across the world. Take a look below!

After several push backs, Ciara's fourth studio album Basic Instinct will be released on November 2nd (according to her website... though Amazon is showing a December 14th release date). A new song has leaked and it struck me as quite familiar... because I heard it first by a man named J.Lewis. Shut 'Em Up is a rhythmic driven song for Ciara to finally tell her haters out there to piss off. Lyric highlights include:
They say I’m Hollywood, They think that I’m too good, Just handling my business, Where I live don’t make a difference.
When I make my booty pop, I Shut Em Up
This song hasn't been confirmed to be on her upcoming album - nor can you really find what her entire track listing will be. J.Lewis must have sold the rights to Ciara, or at the very least, she's done a demo track of it. It's still stands to be a mystery (hence the setbacks on the release date I'm sure). I've always had a place in my heart for Ciara. She's got fierce attitude, an incredible body (thanks to her near perfect dance moves) and always seems to put out some good stuff. Though, I gotta say, I love the J. Lewis version better. Which do you prefer?

And check out this incredible DJ Mashup below! Best of both worlds & what they should release!
It's October 1st and you know what that means: retail stores will be playing their holiday commercials on TV, window displays will be filled with snowflakes, candy canes and fat Santas and soon enough, Christmas will be here. It is only 84 days away til that cheery fat ass will climb down people's chimneys and drop off his goodies. Man does that ever sound perverted... anyway, I digress.
Though I don't think anything will ever compare to her first Christmas album (I happen to play it every Christmas season with great pride), Mariah Carey is trying to beat her own record of the 3rd biggest selling Christmas album with an entirely new one. The first song to leak is the cheerleading pop anthem Oh Santa. It's no All I Want For Christmas Is You but it is a catchy tune for the holidays. I'm still waiting for Mariah to come back to the days when she was known for her incredible voice and give us some of her power ballads (Hero anyone?). Hopefully, we will find some of that on her upcoming Christmas album.
Wow. I am actually kinda speechless by this preview that has leaked for Ke$ha's latest single Animal. I've always loved the song and she's looking surprisingly beautiful in it. Whatdyathink?
Xtina, whoever your internet leak team is, we want to thank them. Because your new album is total killer. I don't care what any of the critics say. It is exactly what early critics on said it would be - the album to set a new standard for Pop music everywhere. If you can get your hands on the leaked deluxe edition, leave your comments about what you think of her new stuff!
In other related news, Ms. Aguilera has cancelled her upcoming summer tour for "Bionic" saying that she "needs more time to prepare." According to Pop Crunch, her tour may not even kick off until 2011! Shit, maybe they will postpone her album release date yet again (thank God I already have it). (I am waiting for a bitter-sweet apology to appear on her website.) I would be pissed but I was unable to score great seats for this tour. I honestly think some of the venues she chose were really pathetic (ie. a lot of amphitheaters). Christina needs to be in big music venues, sold out shows. Do what you gotta do Xtina, and we will catch you soon.
For those of you who still want a taste of her live, she is still set to perform on American Idol tomorrow night (at least for now, she hasn't cancelled that).
I die. 30 days til Xtina's new album and this shit is off the hook! (Yes, sometimes I say things like a black hipster, though I am quite white). What do you think? Anyone else excited for the new Xtina?? Here's "Wohoo" featuring Nicki Minaj
Katy Perry has teamed up with the same producers and writers as Kesha's "Tik Tok" for her most recent "leak" featuring Snoop Dogg titled "California Gurls." (Yes, GURLS.) The song is catchy and perfect for summer, and will probably make the top 10... though, for originality, I give it a 2. It's too similar to that of "Tik Tok." I expect more from you Max Martin!
March 2007 was the first time Clive Davis spoke of Whitney's new album being released.... On August 28th, 2009, two years and 5 months later, it will finally come out. As a teaser, here is a link to a decent quality ripped version (minus the 2 bonus tracks). I wish I could say it was her best ever, but I don't know if we will ever hear the Whitney we remember from her best days, like "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. Still, Whitney is Whitney. LINK HAS BEEN REMOVED. Support the artist! Buy her CD via iTunes
