Even at 35,000 feet, I'm dedicated to bringing you great music. Thank you Google Chrome for sponsoring the free WIFI on Virgin America! One of our English favorites, Alesha Dixon, just released her third studio album The Entertainer and it's one to pick up. Though it's only been released in the UK, the States should prepare for Alesha's treat for dance-a-holics everywhere to drop sometime in April of 2011. Though her previous work on The Alesha Show hadn't given me that warm feeling down there, The Entertainer is bound to compete with any other pop stars out there inviting you to the dance floor. Her first two singles, the marching-band-on-too-much-5-hour-energy thumper Drummer Boy debuted at #15 on the UK Singles Chart. Her team slowed down things a bit with her second sad ballad Radio, (with Robyn Dancing On My Own undertones) but will be gaining some club banger action again with the dance 'til you sweat (& my latest obsession) Every Part of Me, featuring Jay Sean. Could The Entertainer be the material to bring Alesha's career on top of the charts? With an intense beauty, hot dance tracks and a voice that will put other pop stars in their appropriate corners, she's bound to bring back what's been missing from pop music for so long - real talent. Preview all tracks from The Entertainer here.
